You’re Not Broken

If I have to meet you down here, I will.
I know you’re tired…
Tired of pretending like nothing’s bothering you.
Tired of acting like everything’s fine.
Tired of putting on the mask of happiness.
Tired of doing shit that you don’t even enjoy.
Tired of watching everyone else around you having success.
Tired of having so many awesome ideas, but getting easily distracted by things and people who don’t even matter.
Tired of taking prescriptions, eating your feelings away and worrying about your health.

I get it. I do. You’re not alone, my dear.
I once struggled with all of those things.

You have every right to feel the way you do.
Have a pity party!
Tell that person exactly what’s been on your mind!
Scream!
Punch a pillow!
Cry your eyes out!
Just don’t bottle it up anymore. Deal?

As women, we put waaaaaay too much pressure on ourselves to be perfect, be all love and light, and fit in. Stifling our soul, gifts, unique beauty and voice.

I don’t care who it pisses off.
I don’t care if it gives you anxiety just thinking about it.
I want you to make a promise to YOU, that you will only be YOU. You will not play small anymore.
You will show up fully. Fix what’s broken.
Walk away from what’s not serving you.
And go 👏🏼 after 👏🏼 your 👏🏼 dreams.

This is YOUR life. You were not brought into this world to listen to naysayers and play in the comfortable zone. Nobody else will ever know what’s in your heart or why your crazy little dream means so much to you… better than you.

I am in your corner.
And one person believing in you is all it takes.
Don’t let me down.
I know your potential… and trust me – you deserve to be seen, heard and loved for who you truly are.
